MILAN (Reuters) – Carmaker Stellantis will construct extra battery-making vegetation on high of the six ones it has already in its plans in Europe and North America to help rising manufacturing of EV automobiles, its head of world propulsion techniques stated on Friday.
“We now have dedicated to delivering six gigafactories world wide, and extra to come back,” Stellantis’ Senior Vice President, Head of World Propulsion Techniques Micky Bly stated whereas inaugurating the group’s new battery expertise heart in Turin.
“We now have already introduced about 250 gigawatt hours of capability world wide. We consider we have to go to 400 gigawatt hours of capability world wide,” Bly added.
