EU antitrust regulators prolong determination on Broadcom, VMware deal to June 26


BRUSSELS, Might 12 (Reuters) – EU antitrust regulators prolonged on Friday their deadline for a choice on U.S. chipmaker Broadcom’s (AVGO.O) proposed $61 billion bid for cloud computing agency VMware (VMW.N) by three days to June 26.

The deadline was prolonged in settlement with the businesses, a European Fee spokesperson mentioned.

Broadcom Chief Government Hock Tan final week sought to persuade the European Fee of the deserves of the deal at a closed listening to. The corporate is predicted to supply cures within the coming days.
